VRNURSE4KIDS: Kick-off meeting

The VRNURSE4KIDS project – Preparing students Nursing for future healthcare: Virtual reality in paediatric settings – involves four European higher education institutions (three nursing departments and one department of technology) and one company specialised in the use of Virtual Reality (VR) as digital sedation.

The Polytechnic Institute of Porto is one of the partners. With the local coordination of three GILT researchers, the project will run until 2024 and the kick-off meeting will take place in the upcoming 2nd and 3rd of February, in Belgium, to initiate the respective work plan. The aim is to ensure that Nursing educators take the lead in integration of innovative health care technologies in Nursing curricula.
