STEAME Teacher Facilitators Academy: European Workshop and Round Table in Porto

Following the upcoming project meeting on April 4, IPP will host a dynamic European Workshop and Round Table Event on April 5, 2024, at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. Organized as part of the ongoing STEAME Teacher Facilitators Academy, this event promises insightful discussions and interactive workshops aimed at advancing STEAME education across Europe.

The day kicks off with registrations, followed by a warm welcome and an introduction to the STEAME Academy project by Gregoris Makrides, the project coordinator. Participants will then delve into engaging workshops focused on STEAME project-based learning (PBL) and creativity plans, led by expert trainers from esteemed institutions such as the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute and Doukas School.

Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in parallel threads covering various aspects of STEAME education, including evaluation methods and the integration of creativity into learning plans. These workshops aim to equip educators with practical tools and strategies to enhance STEAME teaching and learning experiences.

The event will also feature a round table discussion, offering participants the chance to reflect on key themes and evaluate the impact of STEAME education initiatives. Additionally, an external panel discussion with local experts will provide valuable insights and perspectives on STEAME education practices.

This European Workshop and Round Table Event serve as a testament to the commitment of educators and stakeholders to advance STEAME education and foster innovation in teaching and learning practices. By bringing together experts and practitioners from across Europe, the event aims to drive positive change and promote excellence in education for future generations.
