SECOVE Workshop on Sustainable Energy at ISEP

From May 15th to 17th, the Polytechnic Institute of Porto hosted a three-day workshop under the SECOVE project, focused on enhancing the capacity of VET (Vocational Education and Training) teachers in sustainable energy. The event saw active participation from 35 attendees and featured structured sessions, collaborative activities, and educational site visits.

Key Highlights:

  1. Student Projects: Presentations by local VET students on innovative sustainable energy solutions.
  2. Site Visits: Educational visits to public and private entities in the sustainable energy sector, including a tour of EDP’s data analysis lab.
  3. Interactive Sessions: Constructive discussions and a demonstration of a virtual reality application for an upcoming course.

The workshop successfully met its objectives, fostering knowledge exchange and partnerships, and reinforcing the commitment to sustainable energy practices in vocational education.
